After Thomas Tuchel’s Premier League arrival, Jurgen Klopp’s brilliant reaction took place during a press conference on Wednesday.

Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp know each other from the past, their teams confronted each other in the Champions League. Borussia Dortmund is perhaps the club in Europe that resembles the most to the Reds. After Klopp left the Bundesliga side, Tuchel was the man who took his place and did a fairly good job. After leaving his country, Thomas took an offer from PSG and started winning several trophies.

In fact, he also reached a Champions League final but lost against Bayern Munich last season. Klopp has been following his compatriot’s progression and feels proud of it. Both managers are destined to face each other again in the Premier League and other English football competitions. Although we’ve had several reactions to Tuchel’s arrival, Klopp was important to hear as well.

Klopp reacts brilliantly to Tuchel’s arrival.

First of all, Klopp spoke about Lampard’s sacking and then about Tuchel’s arrival: “That was a really tough one,” said Klopp of Lampard’s sacking via The Guardian. “Chelsea did an incredible job in the transfer market this summer, brought in really good players, and things like this always need time. It’s really harsh to make a decision that early. Obviously Mr Abramovich gives you money and players but is not the most patient person in the world.

“I really feel for Frank, because he’s a young, talented manager. I wish him only the best. He will be fine for sure but it’s hard one if it happens at your club. Maybe it’s good that the story is over, he can go everywhere and be completely fresh without any history. But for Thomas Tuchel it’s great. Unfortunately, he’s a really good manager. I have known him a long time and respect him a lot. This Chelsea squad is a present. I’m pretty sure Thomas sees it like that too. They will be good.”
