Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster the Liverpool squad with a striker considering Salah, Mane, and Firmino’s contract lengths.

Jurgen Klopp has shown interest in Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani as a replacement option at Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino all have at the most 18 months left on their deals with the Reds. Even Divock Origi’s agreement will expire at the end of the season.

Thus, the German boss is eager to find a potential suitor for the attacking role. And according to Bild, Klopp is attracted towards Kolo Muani, who has racked seven goals in 17 appearances in Ligue 1 this campaign.

The 23-year-old still has six months left on his contract with Nantes. As a matter of fact, Klopp feels that the robust striker completely fits the role at Liverpool.

AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt are two other clubs showing an inclination towards the Frenchman. In fact, the latter has been attempting to sign the attacker for a year but have been unable to go through.

However, Kolo Muani’s representatives are currently estimating the positive aspects of a long-term contract from Frankfurt.

But, Klopp and Liverpool will soon enter the competition against the Bundesliga outfit. And Nantes seem to be stalling current offers in order to review what the Premier League side brings to the table.

Furthermore, Klopp is also keen to sign Porto star Luis Diaz, however, it might not be a convenient option considering his £60 million price tag for the January window.
