Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gave his verdict on two Manchester United stars ahead of the big clash with his rivals.
Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool side will host their fierce rivals Manchester United in the clash between the reigning champions and the current Premier League leaders this Sunday.
The German manager used his pre-game press conference to praise two players from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
He hailed United’s playmaker, Bruno Fernandes, who won the Player of the Month award for December.
“Outstanding player. We played Sporting in USA and that game you could see, wow,” said Klopp via Express.
“A difference maker and that is what he shows now. An influential player now.
“Goal involvements important but he is the link-up player and is a leader too. A good signing for Utd.”
He was also full of praise for Marcus Rashford and his ongoing work in helping children from the poor regions of the country.
“I said it before, exceptional. He has some honors, absolutely right,” Jurgen Klopp continued.
“A little shame he has to do this work. He has done it because he had the same situation when he was a kid. Just great to see him never forgetting his roots. Exceptional.”
