Jurgen Klopp says his Liverpool side are ready to adapt to any new challenges in the way of them defending their Premier League crown.
Jurgen Klopp has sent out a warning to Liverpool’s rivals looking to snatch the Premier League title form their grasp.
The Reds were runaway champions last season and raced to their first domestic crown in 30 years.
A new season is up and running already and Liverpool have to do even better than last if they want to defend their crown.
Free-spending Chelsea have made lots of additions and Manchester City also look geared to claim back the title.
Jurgen Klopp knows his side must dig in deep for silverware once again and says they are ready to adapt to whatever obstacles this term.
“It’s completely normal that we have to make another step because other teams will make other steps as well,” Klopp exclusively told Sky Sports News.
“It has nothing to do with being champions, we constantly try to develop and find solutions to the new challenges before we have the problems with them. That’s how football works.
“So it’s not only about changing things it’s about finding the right approach and plan again for this season.”
Liverpool had to dig in deep in their opening game of the season after a late winner from Salah secured the winner in a 4-3 scoreline against Leeds.
An even tougher clash awaits when the Reds take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in the first big game of the season on Sunday.
