Jurgen Klopp was not pleased with his Liverpool players after they appeared to celebrate Andreas Christensen’s red card.

Jurgen Klopp was not a fan of his players celebrating the red card shown to Andreas Christensen during their 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea defender Christensen was dismissed just before half time for hauling down Sadio Mane.

Although he was initially given a yellow card, the Chelsea man was sent off after referee Paul Tierney consulted the pitchside monitor.

Some of the players on the Liverpool bench were jubilant at the decision as they clapped and cheered, but Klopp didn’t take kindly to their actions.

As reported by ESPN reporter Julien Laurens, Klopp turned around from the touchline and shouted: “Are you crazy? We never ever do that, ok?”.

Although the dismissal of Christensen was a major positive for Liverpool after an intense tactical battle in the first half, the Reds boss was eager not to celebrate the decision.

That red card proved to be a deciding factor in the game as Chelsea fell apart in the second half to a Sadio Mane brace.

Chelsea will look to get back to winning ways when they take on West Brom next on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool face yet another potential tough clash as they welcome the Gunners to Anfield next Monday.
