Klich: ‘This one is the most intense and hardest Leeds season’

Mateusz Klich believes Leeds United will have their toughest season under Marcelo Bielsa but is eagerly awaiting the start of the Premier League campaign.

Leeds United return to the Premier League after sixteen years in the lower echelons of English football. They have added to their ranks, adding Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia, and Robin Koch from Freiburg.

Marcelo Bielsa has not lightened up since their promotion and it is taking its toll on the players.

Mateusz Klich shared that they have been working hard on the training pitch and their intensity has not been higher since. The midfielder spoke of Bielsa’s intensity and bemoaned their short holiday period. 

However, he admitted that he would not have it any other way. Klich shared that he would not have it any other way as they are eagerly awaiting the start of Premier League season.

“I think this one is the most intense and hardest one yet,” AS reported Klich ahead of their grueling schedule.

“Obviously, we didn’t have much of a holiday, but to be fair I couldn’t wait to start the next season, so I didn’t want to have any more holidays.”

The Whites have a tough start to their Premier League journey. They take on reigning champions Liverpool on their return to English top-flight football.
