The Gunners have had a welcome fitness boost ahead of their return to Premier League action this weekend.
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard made his return to group training on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old’s appearance was a major boost for Arsenal, with Saturday’s Premier League trip to Brentford looming. He had missed the club’s last three matches because of a concussion and hip injury.
To recover, Odegaard did not play for Norway over the international break. He instead took some time off, along with the rest of the non-international players, and returned to London Colney on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Gabriel Jesus could be set to make his comeback after a hamstring injury. The striker hasn’t played in Arsenal colors since October 24, when he starred in the 2-1 Champions League win against Sevilla.
Jesus started and played the full 90 minutes of Brazil’s 1-0 World Cup qualifying defeat to Argentina on Tuesday.
