As Tottenham goes through a good start of the season, Harry Kane revealed the secret behind his deadly partnership with Son Heung-min.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have one of the most prolific partnerships in Tottenham Hotspur’s history. Together, they managed to take the Spurs all the way to the UEFA Champions League final. When Kane was going through a difficult injury recovery, ‘Sonny’ was always there to pick up the slack. But they are certainly at their best when they play together.

Under Jose Mourinho, these two stars found their best form as a deadly duo. But we all want to know what makes them tick in such impressive fashion. The star striker at Tottenham Hotspur recognizes the crucial role that Son has in all his success during the last couple of years. He is very aware that he wouldn’t be as prolific if the South Korean forward wasn’t playing beside him.

Spurs are going through a great moment right now and they are still improving in all competition. Only time will tell us how far these two can take Jose Mourinho and his boys. But make no mistake, they are the ones who can help them win titles this season.

Kane loves his partnership with ‘Sonny’.

While talking to the press via Football-London, Harry Kane described his partnership with Son: “Year by year, the more you play with someone the more you get to know someone, [it’s about] just understanding your games a little bit better.

“I think we’ve had a great relationship over the years, but this season has just clicked a little bit more and yeah, I think [it’s down to] probably both just being a bit more clinical in the final third whether it’s the final pass or the final finish.

“When someone’s on good form you just try and find them the ball and you end up scoring goals. It might be little deflections or going through the keeper’s legs or things like that.

“We’re riding that wave at the moment but look, it’s not just me and Sonny, we’ve got a great team unit at the minute with great togetherness, and we’re going to need that for the rest of the season if we want to keep staying as high up as we are in the table.”
