Those at Santiago Bernabeu are always on the lookout for the finest talents, and the Spurs striker could become the next ‘Galactico’.

Harry Kane might not be able to resist signing on the dotted line if Real Madrid approach for his signature, warns Jonathan Woodgate.

Regarded by many as the best striker in the Premier League at present, Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for some time.

It is the north London side’s inability to compete for major trophies that troubles the England international and he even refused to rule out a transfer away from Tottenham in March 2019.

A switch to Real Madrid has been mooted for the Three Lions captain who is yet to pick up a piece of silverware in his over a decade-long senior career at the club.

“If he wants to win trophies and get onto that next pedestal of Messi, Ronaldo, and that type of player, he has to go,” Woodgate who has the experience of playing for both Tottenham and Real Madrid told Stadium Astro.

“I don’t see him winning the league at Spurs, not this season and not in the next few seasons, they have got too much building to do to get up there with Liverpool and Man City. For me, if he wants to win the European Cup then he has got a chance of winning it at Real Madrid.”
