Only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi hold a superior position in terms of quality to Harry Kane, according to Dimitar Berbatov.
An excellent track record in the goalscoring department has helped Tottenham’s Harry Kane create his status as one of the most lethal marksmen in the world.
Much feared by the defenders, the 27-year old has notched up close to two centuries of goals in Spurs colors till date.
A diverse skillset such as the ability to assume the predatory role in the box, finish from outside the penalty area, and to drop deep so as to create chances for his teammates is what makes him one of the most complete forwards.
“After Messi and Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski are two of the best talents in our sport,” Dimitar Berbatov told Betfair.
“Kane’s assist at the weekend [in a 3-3 draw with West Ham], that’s next level sh*t, you expect that from Kevin De Bruyne.
“The Spurs man is consistently proving that he can be that number 10, not just be up front poaching goals.”
Kane’s partnership with Son Heung-min is something that perfectly highlights his expertise at link-up play.
The two players have a great understanding of each other’s playing style, evident from the fact that they share 12 goals and eight assists between them so far this season.
“Kane and Son are a joy to watch, two magnificent players who know each other perfectly,” Berbatov added.
“Right now, they are just having fun playing together, it’s the perfect partnership.”
