Kai Havertz has played alongside numerous strikers at the German national team, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Kai Havertz rates Arsenal teammate Gabriel Jesus as the best striker he has partnered in his career.
Havertz has played alongside many notable strikers across Germany and England. During his time at Chelsea, he joined forces with talents like Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, and Olivier Giroud.
Yet, now at Arsenal, Havertz is relishing the opportunity to play and train with a striker of Jesus’ caliber.
“I have to say really I think the best,” the 24-year-old said to Football Daily.
“I knew this before as well but now I see it in every training session.
“It is an honor to play with players like this, he’s one of those players who can turn a game around by himself and I think he’s the best.”
Because of Jesus’ injury problems this season, Havertz has only shared the pitch with the Brazilian 10 times since his £65 million summer move from Chelsea.
The pair will be hoping for more game time on Saturday when Arsenal take on Wolves in the Premier League.
