Juventus have struggled to end their horrendous domestic and European run in recent weeks.

Massimiliano Allegri has urged Juventus to make a strong comeback after their elimination from the Champions League.

A 4-3 defeat against Benfica ended Juve’s hopes of qualifying for the tournament’s next round.

Back in Serie A, Juve have slipped to eighth place on the table. However, Allegri believes the UCL disappointment should motivate the Bianconeri to regain their best form in Serie A.

“We have to react after the elimination from the Champions League and carry the anger with us throughout the Serie A season,” Allegri said on Friday.

“We will have to play an unspectacular game if necessary.

Up to now Lecce has always kept the games in the balance, we know the importance of tomorrow’s match, we will have to take it on as a team, with great consistency.”

Juventus have won their last two league games, showing signs of defensive improvement. Allegri wants his side to look at every match as a chance to step up their form.

“Right now we have to do something more to get out of this situation,” he added.

“It’s an opportunity for everyone, it’s a time for growth, I have a group of guys who have important moral values. Talking about the Scudetto today is useless, now we have to react starting from Lecce.”
