One of Juventus top names is edging closer to a return from injury. Highly rated Matthijs De Ligt is close to getting back on the pitch.
After months out due to injury, De Ligt might have given a hint he is close to full fitness.
The Dutchman had been battling shoulder problems since last year and finally had surgery on it back in August.
De Ligt was ruled out for three months at the time with his return date penciled for sometime in November.
The latest activity shows he is right on track for that duration. The 21-year-old trained partially with the rest of the Juventus team ahead of their trip to Dynamo Kyiv.
De Ligt also posted a few pictures of today’s training session on his Instagram account using the caption ‘getting closer’.
According to several reports in Italy, the defender could return for Juve against Lazio on November 8 or immediately after the International break.
The return of De Ligt will come as a big boost for Pirlo and Juventus especially with the Champions League getting underway already.
