Aaron Ramsey feels that there has been a mood lift in the Juventus dressing room ever since the change of managerial personnel.

Under the tutelage of Maurizio Sarri in 2019/20, Juventus won their ninth consecutive Scudetto, the longest streak of winning league titles in any of Europe’s ‘top five’ leagues.

But Sarri was unsuccessful in guiding Juve to Champions League glory – something the club last achieved 24 years ago.

The Bianconeri suffered embarrassment in only the Last 16 stage of Europe’s premier club competition, and Sarri was promptly relieved of his duties.

Andrea Pirlo was then handed the managerial reins. Given his inexperience, Pirlo’s appointment came as a surprise to the fans.

However, the early signs for the former midfield maestro have looked good as Juve emerged 3-0 victorious in his first match in charge.

Aaron Ramsey starred in that match in what was arguably his best one in a Juve shirt so far, as played a direct part in Cristiano Ronaldo‘s goal while also creating six goalscoring chances in total.

“We have a new coach, a new staff, new ideas, and we players are very busy with this. I think the difference is that there is a lot of fun, the training is hard but it gives great satisfaction,” Ramsey told Sky Sports.

“We started well with the first match and now we have to continue building the team.”
