After facing some time on the treatment table, Juventus are set to be handed a boost with the return of De Ligt and Alex Sandro.
Matthijs de Ligt and Alex Sandro are close to a return from injury and could be available for Juventus after the international break as per Football-Italia.
The Dutch defender underwent shoulder surgery back in August and is currently training with the rest of the team. However, he doesn’t take part in games and any kind of activity that requires physical contact.
In a similar fashion, Alex Sandro picked up a thigh injury prior to Juventus’ opening game of the season against Sampdoria.
The Brazilian is also expected to be fit for action after the international break. The return of both players would come as a welcome boost for Andrea Pirlo.
The Old Lady play their last game before the International break on Sunday against Lazio after Wednesday’s away Champions League clash to Ferencvaros.
De Ligt and Sandro will be ruled out of the games and will return at Andrea Pirlo’s disposal at the end of November when Juventus’ season will resume with a home clash against Cagliari.
