After leaving the pitch with an evident injury, Paulo Dybala just got an official diagnosis of his problem and it’s more serious than we thought.

Paulo Dybala can’t catch a break with injuries and health issues at Juventus. The Bianconeri just announced that the Argentine forward has mild damage on his medial collateral ligament of his left knee. This all happened after the player picked up the problem during Juventus’ match against Sassuolo over the weekend. During that game, both Weston McKennie and Federico Chiesa also suffered issues.

However, only Paulo Dybala got an actual injury that will keep him out of the game for nearly a month. Although it’s not devastating, another three weeks without playing football has to be annoying for Paulo. The player underwent the proper tests to determine the damage on his knee.

Paulo is KO, Mckennie and Chiesa are ok.

Andrea Pirlo initially gave an update on Dybala’s injury earlier today but he hoped it wasn’t that serious. However, the player went to J Medical for the check-up to realize he needs to rest and recover from another knee issue. The club issued an official statement on him, Weston, and Chiesa through their official website.

“Paulo Dybala underwent diagnostic tests at J|Medical this morning, which revealed a low-grade lesion of the medial collateral ligament of the left knee with a recovery time of approximately 15/20 days. The exams to which Weston McKennie and Federico Chiesa have been subjected to have instead ruled out injuries and therefore their conditions will be evaluated day by day.”
