The Juventus star suffered a season-ending injury with the Italian giants looking for a new forward.

Anthony Martial made it clear to Manchester United earlier this season that he want to leave this January. United boss Ralf Rangnick confirmed he has spoken to the player about a potential move away from Old Trafford. It seems the Frenchman now has his first serious suitor in the market.

According to 90min, Juventus are planning to open talks with United over a January transfer for Martial. The Italian giants reportedly want to sign Martial on loan with an option to buy him at the end of the season.

Federico Chiesa suffered an ACL injury during Juventus’ 4-3 win over Roma. The player will miss the rest of the season, with the Bianconeri targeting Martial as a January replacement.

Sevilla are also keen to sign the Frenchman this winter. However, the Spanish side’s negotiations with his representatives have stalled due to the players’ wage demands.

This might also concern Juventus, who are keen to trim their wage bill. The Bianconeri have several players on their exit list. Currently, Weston McKennie, Aaron Ramsy, and Adrian Rabio are close to exit doors at the Turin club.

In an interview in December, Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley spoke about his client’s future at Man United.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “Anthony wishes to leave the club in January.

“He just needs to play. He doesn’t want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon.”
