After targeting a Napoli player previously, Serie A champions Juventus are looking to purchase another player from the same club.
As you all may know, Juventus has been seeking for an attacking option recently from Napoli to tie-up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata. However, now, Bianconeri has a more possible chance to acquire another player from the same team. In case you haven’t guessed yet, we are talking about Fernando Llorente.
It is highly likely that Partenopei will release the Spain international on a free note at the end of the season. Which means that they will not have to pay his wages. Sadly, he has not played for the majority of the season for Napoli. And Juventus will grab on to the opportunity to add one more striker which is required, per Tuttosport.
And as a matter of fact, Andrea Pirlo along with Morato would be delighted to welcome back the Spaniard. Llorente spent two years of his career at the Turin capital from 2013 to 2015. And for the Juve boss, it would be a reliable option due to his physical presence on the field.
The 35-year-old has only racked 19 minutes for Napoli so far in the season. He played against Torino recently in the absence of Dries Mertens and Victor Osimhen. Llorente moved from Tottenham in 2019 and is currently making €2.5 million every year. Additionally, Sampdoria wanted to add him to their squad, however, the deal did not take place.
