Despite a quiet start to the summer transfer window, Juve could get the ball rolling by the end of the week.

Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria are on the verge of completing free transfers to Juventus.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist claims Juventus have agreed on terms for a one-year deal with Di Maria. The club will now prepare the contract while the player flies to Italy.

Di Maria heads to Turin as a free agent, having left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract last month. He spent seven years in France and 14 major trophies, including five league titles.

Sky Sport Italia recently claimed that the 34-year-old winger might earn a salary of around €6 million for a season.

Pogba set for a medical this weekend

Juventus have also reached an agreement to re-sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer from Manchester United.

The 29-year-old midfielder has accepted a four-year contract to return to the Italian club. He could have a medical in Italy this Saturday.

Pogba previously played for Juventus from 2012 until 2016. In 177 appearances, the Frenchman managed 34 goals and 40 assists. He helped the Old Lady win eight trophies, including four consecutive league titles.
