The Bianconeri snatched their fourth consecutive league win with an impressive display against their arch-rivals.

Juventus defeated Inter 2-0 in their Serie A game on Sunday. A solid second-half display saw Massimiliano Allegri climb up to the fifth spot on the league table.

Juve are BACK!

Juventus started the season on an awful note but seemed to be on their way back prior to the game.

Allegri’s men hoped to extend their three-match winning streak in the league, approaching the derby clash with extra caution.

Both sides were busy fighting midfield battles throughout the first period, testing each other’s defensive integrity.
But things took another turn as soon as the second half began.

Following a brilliant run and assist from Filip Kostic, Adrien Rabiot scored his first goal for the Bianconeri with a precise shot from inside the box.

Inter struggled to recollect themselves quickly after the goal, with Juve finding a few more chances to increase their lead.

The Nerazzurri ultimately increased the pressure on Juve’s backline after the 70th-minute mark. But that only resulted in providing more space for Juve to create counter-attacking chances.

The hosts finally killed off the game by doubling their lead in the 84th minute. Kostic completed his wonderful performance by providing another assist, this time for Nicolo Fagioli.

The home win sends Juve past Roma to the fifth spot on the Serie A table. With a game remaining until the World Cup break, Juve are only four points behind the second-placed AC Milan.
