Tammy Abraham scored a second-half equalizer as Roma left the game with a fair draw in Turin.
Juventus drew 1-1 with Roma in their Serie A game on Saturday. An action-packed clash saw Jose Mourinho’s side escape the defeat at Juve’s home stadium.
A Serie A stalemate!
Juventus shocked their opponents with a brilliant start to the game.
Dusan Vlahovic smashed a brilliant free-kick into the back of the net in the second minute to put Juve ahead.
Juventus remained in charge of the possession for most of the second half, coming close to increasing their lead a few times.
However, Mourinho’s side grew into the game as time went by, creating more pressure on Juve’s backline to snatch the equalizer.
Following a few missed chances in the second period, Paulo Dybala fired a scissor-kick across the face of the goal. The ball found Tammy Abraham, who scored Roma’s equalizer with a controlled header from close range.
Both sides made changes to their squad for the final 20 minutes as they pushed for the winner. However, the Serie A giants had to settle for the draw as they failed to create serious goalscoring chances.
