Juventus started the game with dominance but failed to convert their chances. Duvan Zapata broke the deadlock in the 28th minute as he scored his ninth league goal of the season.
La Dea defended their only goal with great composure in the second half while constantly threatening Juventus with counter-attacks.
Juventus failed to score the equalizer as Juan Musso’s heroics denied their forwards. It was a similar performance to Juve’s 4-0 defeat against Liverpool on Tuesday. Massimiliano Allegri’s side were as disorganized in the final third as they were unstable in their defensive duties.
Juventus slipped to eighth place on the Serie A table, while Atalanta move up to fourth place as they put more pressure on Inter.
