After Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, Juventus are planning to purchase a Manchester United outcast as an alternative for the Portuguese.

Juventus are hoping that they can pull a Manchester United outcast to play in Serie A in the forthcoming January transfer window.

If you have not guessed already, Bianconeri indeed are reportedly interested in signing Anthony Martial. The 25-year-old continues to suffer under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for receiving first-team playtime at Old Trafford.

In fact, during the summer transfer window, the France international was linked with the Italian side Inter Milan. However, any further steps were dismissed and the move could not take place.

Nevertheless, as per a report from Calciomercato, Juventus wish to see Martial at the Allianz Stadium next year as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The paper also states that the Red Devils will be willing to release their fairly unused striker for around £40 million. Anthony has only made seven appearances under the Norwegian boss this season. And has seen most of his time on the sidelines.

It might be that Juve will look for a potential offer of a year-and-a-half loan for the French attacker. The idea behind this is that it will be an excuse to not purchase him for his proposed high price.

Martial’s agreement with Man Utd will expire in 2024. But given the condition of his presence on the field, it seems unlikely that he will stay until then.
