The Reds already have two injury worries as their pre-season fixtures get underway.
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has suffered a fresh setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.
Jota sustained the injury while on international duty with Portugal in June. It caused him to miss Liverpool’s 4-0 friendly defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday in Bangkok, Thailand.
He returned to training on Wednesday in Singapore, but Klopp fears it only aggravated his injury as he waits the results of a scan.

Klopp laments Jota’s injury
“Diogo is unlucky,” said the Reds boss in a press conference at Singapore National Stadium.
“Diogo was not involved [against Manchester United] because of an injury he got at the end of his season.
“He trained yesterday fully and got injured again, so that’s really not cool, but we have to wait for the results. He had further assessment this morning [Thursday], so we have to see.”
Asked if the hamstring was the issue, Klopp replied: “We will see. The same region, yes.”
Klopp also revealed that goalkeeper Alisson Becker suffered from an unknown problem in training. The German is waiting for further updates.
Liverpool will next take on Crystal Palace for a friendly in Singapore this coming Friday.
