The Liverpool boss has emerged as a top managerial target for Germany.

Jurgen Klopp’s agent has dismissed rumours about his client’s possible move to Germany.

Hansi Flick has come under immense pressure since his side’s disappointing World Cup campaign in Qatar. Germany are preparing to play Euro 2026 on home soil, but Die Mannschaft have shown little improvement in recent months.

Earlier this week, reports emerged of German Football Association (DFB) considering a replacement for Flick.

Klopp’s name has been mentioned among the candidates to succeed the former Bayern Munich manager. However, his agent insists the 56-year-old has no plans of leaving Anfield this summer.

“Jürgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool and the DFB has a coach,” Marc Kosicke told Bild.

“This is not a topic for us at all.”

Since joining Liverpool in 2015, Klopp has established his place among the club’s best-ever coaches. The German boss ended the Reds’ 30-year wait to lift the Premier League title while leading them to the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.

Last year, the former Borussia Dortmund manager signed a contract renewal until 2026.

Reflecting on his decision to extend his stay at Anfield, Klopp said: “There is a freshness about us as a club still and this energises me.

“For as long as I have been here, our owners have been unbelievably committed and energetic about this club and it is clear that right now this applies to our future as much as I’ve ever known.”
