As doubts over Christophe Galtier’s future in Paris linger, Jose Mourinho has sought to play down the rumors linking him with the Ligue 1 club.

AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has disregarded the ongoing speculation linking him with the managerial position at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 60-year-old Portuguese, who is under contract at Roma until 2024, mocked the PSG rumors during a press conference on Wednesday.

“If they [PSG] called, they didn’t find me,” Mourinho said on Sky Sport Italia.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United coach spoke ahead of Roma’s first leg against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semi-finals this Thursday in Italy.

The matchup will pit him against Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso, who he coached during his spell in charge of Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013.

Mourinho has said striker Paulo Dybala and midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum are unlikely to start due to injury problems.
