Jordan Hugill has cut short his two-year stay at the London Stadium, joining Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.
West Ham spent £10 million for Jordan Hugill on the deadline day of the 2018 January transfer window. The move did not plan out as everyone would have hoped.
It led to two loan moves away from the London Stadium. David Moyes has now ruled on his future with the club.
The Hammers were listening to offers for Hugill and Norwich City have secured his signing. The Canaries are building their side for adventures in Sky Bet Championship after being relegated from the Premier League.
Hugill was pleased with the move and believes it will allow him to find his groove again. The 28-year-old believes he can bully defenders and this is how he can add value to Norwich.
“As soon as I knew they were interested in taking me, it was a decision that I wanted to move quickly. To come here is brilliant for me and my family to get settled again and hit the ground running,” talkSPORT quoted Hugill.
“For me, the aim is to get this club back to where they want to be and for me to prove a point.
“I’m a big, physical presence who will batter a defender around, so quite old school, but I’m also a very powerful striker who can get in the box and on the end of things.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone, but more importantly I’m looking forward to succeeding with everyone.”
