In an opinion written for Sky Sports, Jamie Redknapp explained why he is so thrilled with the English Borussia Dortmund star’s future.
Borussia Dortmund currently has two incredible English players that Jamie Redknapp adores. However, he is especially excited about Jude Bellingham, the least known of the two players. As we all know, Jadon Sancho is already considered one of the best wingers in the world as he’s proven his worth many times over.
But Jude just arrived in Germany and he still has a long road ahead of him. Getting praised by the likes of Jamie Redknapp will be a perfect test of character for him. Even though we didn’t get to see him in the Premier League, Jude has already made a name for himself in the Bundesliga.
Redknapp wanted to talk about his specific skills in one of his columns at Sky Sports. He also wanted to express how excited he feels for the future this lad has ahead of him. Bellingham can easily become one of the Three Lions’ most important players over the next decade.

Gareth Southgate finally gave Bellingham a chance to train next to the best English players in the world after calling him for this international break. Even though he could’ve been part of the U-21 squad, it’s clear Southgate has big plans for him. Jamie couldn’t hide his excitement for the experience he will gain with this latest call-up.
This is what Redknapp wrote on Sky Sports: “I am so pleased Jude Bellingham is in the squad. I know it is early and we should not get too excited about it but I am a massive fan of how he plays. There are certain young midfielders who come along who make you go, ‘wow, this kid has got everything’.
“He is a lovely passer of the ball, he looks so composed. Even if he does not touch a ball in the next three games, just for him to be around the likes of Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, just to get a feeling of what it is like to be in an England squad is going to be vital for him.”
