In a nail-biting fixture between Italy and Netherlands, neither could find the winning goal. We have the Player Ratings for the game.

Italy went down to the second spot in the UEFA Nations League group with a 1-1 draw vs the Netherlands.

Whereas, the Dutchmen keep their odds alive for going ahead in the campaign by receiving a point at Gewiss Stadium.

The Netherlands made a good start to the game. Although, in the 16th minute, Italy found a way through the Dutch defense and Lorenzo Pellegrini converted Nicolo Barella’s pass.

Nevertheless, Cillessen held the Italians back by saving attempts from Ciro Immobile. The Netherlands seemed shaky in the first half.

However, in the 25th minute, Memphis Depay cannoned at Donnarumma. Consequently, Donny van de Beek captured the opportunity to blast if past the goalkeeper.

Evidently, the Manchester United man netted his first goal for Oranje.

Although, early in the second half, Wijnaldum shot over the frame of the goal to nearly score for his nation.

Donnarumma also made an excellent save to deny Depay from scoring.

Cillessen to the rescue.

On the other side, Italy was a constant threat for the Dutch goalkeeper Cillessen.

Moreover, in the 58th minute, Hans Hateboer handed a golden chance for Ciro Immobile to take the lead. Though, the Valencia goal stopper blocked the strike to keep things level.

The Netherlands now sit third in the group behind Italy. Elsewhere, Poland beat Bosnia 3-0 to top the group in the tournament.
