The European champions remain at the top of the Group A3 table after a goalless draw against England.

England and Italy drew 0-0 in their UEFA Nations League game on Saturday. The Three Lions pushed to get their first victory in the tournament but had no luck in breaking Italy’s defence.

No winners at Wembley!

The game started with England storming Italy’s defence in the first ten minutes. A shot from Mason Mount rattled the crossbar, but that was the closest England came to scoring.

Following the initial ten minutes, the pace of the game dropped significantly. Both sides tried to organize attacks deep from their midfield, but heavy pressing from the other side prevented them.

After the interval, England dominated the possession, hoping to create more chances through Raheem Sterling down the left flank. However, they weren’t able to create their few chances and had to settle for the home draw.

The result keeps England at the bottom of the Group A3 table while Italy lead the group.

The Three Lions will face Hungary in a must-win match on Tuesday. On the other hand, Italy must travel to Germany to meet Die Mannschaft.
