A midfielder who has spent his entire career up to this point in Spain now desires for pastures new abroad, confirms his agent.

Isco, a player who was once almost indispensable in the team’s line-up, is increasingly falling out of favor at Real Madrid.

The playmaker once used to effortlessly dictate plays but his creativity and effectiveness have massively diminished in recent times.

As a result, he has slipped down in Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order behind the likes of Federico Valverde and Martin Odegaard.

Isco has started just thrice in La Liga this term. Unhappy with the lack of playing time, he has reportedly informed the club about his desire to leave.

Real Madrid are also understood to be open to getting him off their books as they are trying to reduce their wage bill in times of financial crisis and seek to raise funds for transfers next summer.

Interest from the Premier League has been reported for the 28-year-old, with Everton and Arsenal the linked clubs.

A move to Everton appears more likely with a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti suggested as an interesting prospect for Isco.

“Right now, we have no offers, but Isco wants to try another league,” the player’s agent and father told in an interview with Cadena SER, via AS.

Francisco Alarcon added: “Staying in Madrid would not be a problem.”
