Piero Ausilio asserts that Inter Milan will not be tempted into letting go of Milan Skriniar unless an ‘impressive’ offer comes along.
Tottenham are understood to have made an approach for Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar as Jose Mourinho seeks to bolster his back-line.
Recent reports have suggested that the two clubs are currently trying to reach common ground over the right-footed center-back’s valuation, with the selling party demanding at least €50 million while the buying party willing to offer only upto €35 million.
Inter president sporting director Piero Ausilio was recently asked to comment on the future of some of the players and he also addressed rumors of Skriniar’s potential exit.
Ausilio told Sky Italia: “I said the other day there has been contact for Skriniar.
“We did not receive any particularly impressive offers and he is not on the market.”
Spurs’ quest to return to being a top-four Premier League side have prompted them to invest considerably in this transfer market.
Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Matt Doherty, among a few others, have already been signed and more incomings are expected in the final week of the window.
The team are reportedly on the verge of signing Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius on a temporary basis as a second fiddle to Harry Kane.
