An incredible brace from Angel Correa secured the three points for Inter at home.
Inter defeated Udinese 2-0 in their Serie A game on Sunday. The Nerazzurri keep on chasing AC Milan and Napoli on top of the table by bagging three more points.
Correa strikes again
Despite dominating the possession, Inter couldn’t break the deadlock in the first half. However, Angel Correa was quick to put on a show in the second period.
The Puerto Rican star opened the scoring for Inter on the hour-mark. Udinese tried to mount a comeback, but Correa sealed Inter’s victory by doubling their lead eight minutes later.
Inter remain third in Serie A after the victory, hoping to leapfrog Milan and Napoli later on.
The Nerazzurri will face Sheriff Tiraspol in their next Champions League game on Wednesday.
