Inter managed to clinch a massive home win against the Serie A leaders.

Inter defeated Napoli 1-0 in their Serie A game on Wednesday. The Nerazzurri ended Napoli’s incredible run of 11 consecutive wins.

Title race is back on!

Napoli started off as the better side, while Inter struggled to keep up with their opponents’ fast-paced attacks.

The Blues attacked the hosts from both flanks. However, their crosses for Victor Osimhen rarely found the Nigerian star inside Inter’s crowded box.

The hosts then gradually put pressure on Napoli’s backline for the opener, with Romelu Lukaku missing a golden opportunity to put his side ahead.

The Nerazzurri finally broke the deadlock after another wave of attacks at the beginning of the second period.

Following a precise cross from Federico Dimarco, Edin Dzeko made it 1-0 for Inter with a powerful header.

Napoli pushed to get back into the game after Inter’s opener. But they rarely found any serious chances to score due to their opponents’ solid pressing.

Brilliant man-marking from the Inter defenders left Osimhen isolated inside the box. Meanwhile, Inter found a few half-chances to increase their lead but eventually settled for a narrow win.
