Mauro Icardi has shot down rumors he will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Icardi made an impressive start to life at PSG after joining the club on loan in the summer of 2019, scoring 20 goals in his first 34 appearances for the club.
Impressed with his performances, the Ligue 1 giants opted to convert his loan deal into a permanent transfer for a reported fee of €60 million.
However, form and fitness issues prevented the Argentine from maintaining the momentum in his second season at Parc des Princes.
It has been reported PSG are prepared to part ways with the 28-year-old striker this summer and are ambitiously aiming to swap him for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is heavily linked with a move away from Juventus.
In other news, Roma are also keen on the player as Jose Mourinho looks to add attacking firepower to his ranks ahead of 2021-22.
“This season, the next and the next!!!” the Argentine declared on his Instagram story after a fan asked whether he would leave PSG.
