The 40-year-old continues to defy his age and stamp his name further into the record books.

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become only the second player in history to score against 80 different clubs across Europe’s top five leagues.

The Swede reached the milestone by tapping in a second-minute opening goal during AC Milan’s 3-0 win at Venezia in Serie A on Sunday afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the only other footballer to have hit the target against 80 different clubs in Europe’s biggest leagues. He achieved the feat in Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Burnley on December 30.

How is Ibrahimovic doing this season?

Despite turning 40 in October, and starting the season with injury problems, Ibrahimovic is still delivering the goods at San Siro.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United striker has supplied eight goals and two assists in 13 league games, helping AC Milan climb into second place in the standings.

The Rossoneri are one point behind table-toppers Inter Milan as they chase a first Serie A title since 2011.

The only downside to their season so far was a group-stage Champions League exit, having finished fourth in Group B.
