Veteran forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hit a brilliant milestone following his brace for AC Milan in their 4-0 victory against Crotone.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has once again proven age is just a number by surpassing 500 career club goals.
Despite his age, the big Swede continues to deliver in front of goal and has been a key figure for the Rossoneri this term.
Milan are well in Serie A title discussions, and an attack-line led by Ibrahimovic has impressed on all fronts from the start of the season.
The latest pair of goals for the veteran forward has now put him in some exclusive category.
Ibrahimovic reached the impressive landmark by combining with Milan teammate Rafael Leao to open the scoring against Crotone in the 30th minute on Sunday.
The experienced frontman then completed his brace for club goal 501 by tapping into an empty net following Theo Hernandez’s cross in the 64th minute.
Elsewhere, Ante Rebic found the net twice in less than 60 seconds to complete the rout for Stefano Pioli’s men.
It means only the trio of Messi, Ronaldo and now Ibrahimovic have 500+ club goals amongst active players.
The veteran striker has scored goals for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and LA Galaxy over the years.
