Zlatan Ibrahimovic has posted a message that appears to be directed at Romelu Lukaku after AC Milan came out victorious in the derby.

As always, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come out with a cheeky statement in the aftermath of AC Milan’s victory over their rivals at the weekend.

The Swede scored a brace in the Diavoli’s 2-1 win over Inter in Saturday’s derby clash.

It was only a matter of time before Ibrahimovic posted some ‘self-praise’ message as he’s commonly known for.

He didn’t disappoint and has posted one that has seen a lot of talk so far.

Apparently, Ibrahimovic hasn’t forgotten Romelu Lukaku’s message after Inter’s derby win back in February.

The Nerazzurri recovered from two goals down and managed a 4-2 win with the Belgian striker who netted the last goal.

After that game Lukaku wrote on Twitter: “There’s a new king in town.”

Eight months later, Ibrahimovic has replied to his former Manchester United teammate.

Milano never had a king, they have a GOD

“Milano never had a king, they have a GOD.” he posted on Instagram.

It could mean anything but on closer look, the caption is clearly pointing at Lukaku’s statement from back in February. Cheeky once again from the big Swede.

Four goals from four games so far means Ibrahimovic is currently joint top-scorer in Serie A as it stands.

Milan also lead the standings with a 100 percent record so far.
