Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted on social media that he is very close to a return to full fitness and back on the pitch for AC Milan.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hopeful he can be fully fit in time to face Juventus on Wednesday judging by his latest post on social media.
The 39-year-old has been on the sidelines since November 22 when he picked up an injury during the Rossoneri’s 3-1 away win at Napoli.
Milan face Juventus at San Siro on Wednesday and Ibrahimovic appears to be aiming to return just in time for that crunch fixture.
The big posted a brief video from today’s training at Milanello writing: “Tick tock tick tock.”
He trained separately today and it is assumed it is all in a bid to recover full fitness just in time.
Stefano Pioli already gave an update on Ibrahimovic and it could all be coming together for the San Siro outfit.
“Ibra is focused and is working on his recovery, but I don’t know when he will be available,” the Milan boss said after his side’s 2-0 win at Benevento on Sunday.
In Ibrahimovic’s absence, Milan has remained unbeaten in Serie A and currently leads the pile as they have done for a while.
However, the presence of a figure like Zlatan against a side like Juventus could give Milan a mental boost and perhaps a physical one as well in that fixture.
