Douglas Costa answered some questions in a recent interview, including who will win a ‘clash’ between Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Douglas Costa seems to have enjoyed a series of clashes in Italian football of late.
One of the above came after Lukaku and Ibrahimovic stole the headlines following a confrontation in a Coppa Italia clash.
At half-time, the former Manchester United teammates exchanged harsh words and had to be physically kept apart.
If that tussle had been allowed to go on, Juventus loanee Douglas Costa knows who might have won.
“Nice question” he replied laughing, “maybe Ibra” he said in a Clubhouse chat.
More recently, Antonio Conte and Andrea Agnelii also clashed when Juventus met Inter in the Coppa Italia semifinals. Costa also enjoyed that episode between
“It was nice, I don’t like to get involved in these situations, but these stories are nice when you see them from outside” he continued.
Costa is currently on loan with Bayern Munich but his future with the Bundesliga giants as well as Juventus remains in doubt. Milan have been linked with the 30-year-old but he says he isn’t aware of such interest yet.
“Nobody [from Milan] has called me” he added.
“But I really like [Ismael] Bennacer, he is really strong”
