The highly motivated Cristiano Ronaldo is eager to achieve the same glory which he enjoyed during his first spell at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has slipped a hint regarding his stay at Manchester United for the next “three or four years”. The Portugal international also dictated that he has come back to Old Trafford to carry on winning.

To what can be called the most surprising transfer in the history of football, United re-signed Ronaldo from Juventus for $28 million. Thus, the 36-year-old locked his future with a one-year agreement with the Red Devils.

However, as we move forward, Cristiano has revealed his aspirations following his return to United. This was the ultimate stage where the Portuguese evolved as one of the greatest players in the world of football.

Ahead of Ronaldo’s second debut against Newcastle, his former teammate Wes Brown conducted an exclusive interview on MUTV. He was asked if he could help his team lift major silverware after a five-year wait. Here is what he said.

“This is why I am here,” said Ronaldo. “I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.”

“I am capable, me and my team-mates. I am ready to go, I am ready to go. It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead.”

“I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years.”

“I’m here to win, people before speaking about the age but they should understand and they know that I’m different, I’m different from the rest of the people.”

“I show that off all the time, year by year and this year will be the same. I know 100 per cent that I will do it good with the boys, with my teammates, the supporters will be on our side.”
