After making his way to Paris Saint-Germain in France, Sergio Ramos has finally opened up about his all-time rival Lionel Messi.
The day has finally come where we can see that Sergio Ramos does not hate Lionel Messi after all. In actual fact, the Spaniard is an admirer of the divine Argentinian striker.
After 16 years of loyal presence for Real Madrid, we saw Ramos part ways with the club. And now that he has moved to Paris Saint-Germain, Sergio did not hesitate to talk about his all-time rival Leo Messi.
The ‘evergreen’ Clasico rivalry brought us many moments between these two veterans in La Liga. And Ramos spent numerous seasons serving for Madrid just to stop Messi from taking the victory away.
Nevertheless, the Spain international has now embarked upon a new journey in France. But Ramos saw that the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was linked to PSG amid his uncertain future at Barca.
And has therefore admitted that he has been a big fan of the little man who always troubled him during their clashes.
Ramos told TNT Sports of Leo Messi: “I like to play with the best players. And Messi has been one of the best in the world.”
“I have always said that Messi will always have a role in my team.”
