Speaking in the latest edition of ’10 Questions With…’, the young Englishman shares his ambition of developing into a prolific scorer.
Callum Hudson-Odoi aspires to develop into a player that “every team fears” and become more productive in the final third for Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi has been playing in an unfamiliar position ever since the managerial change at Stamford Bridge in January.
The Blues academy graduate burst onto the scene as a pacy winger with focus on attack but now has a role requiring influence at both ends of the pitch, having been converted into a wing-back.
He is striving in the new role under Thomas Tuchel, having made 25 appearances across all competitions so far in 2020-21.
The England international, who has the hunger to keep improving, however, believes he can offer Chelsea much more.
Hudson-Odoi told the official club website: “You want to be that player who every team fears and where you have a target to get a goal or an assist for the team in every match you play, to help the team as much as possible because that contributes at the end of the game.
“You scoring or assisting helps the team win so I look at it like that. If I can get a goal one game and then maybe the next game I get an assist and the next game a goal again, it’s helpful for all aspects.
“I want to be one of those players that you know is regularly on the scoresheet.”
