Find out how long Liverpool could be without Trent Alexander-Arnold and how many games he might miss during his injury absence.
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will spend time on the sidelines to recover from a knee injury.
On Tuesday, Liverpool’s assistant manager, Pep Lijnders, confirmed the injury. He said that Alexander-Arnold suffered a tear in the lateral ligament of his knee during the 2-0 FA Cup win over Arsenal last weekend.
Lijnders added that the England international has undergone a scan and will be out of action for a ‘few weeks’.

Should this be the case, Alexander-Arnold might miss around five to six games for Liverpool in the coming weeks. This includes Wednesday’s first leg against Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-finals. He is also a doubt for the Premier League games against Chelsea and Arsenal.
