Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr was the starting point of an influx of talent into the Saudi Pro League that has changed the competition’s landscape entirely.

Other Saudi Arabian clubs, namely Al Hilal, seem to have been more active in the summer transfer window. But Al Nassr have, nonetheless, improved their squad ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Which Players have joined Al Nassr this summer?

Al Hilal lineup for 2023-24 season

Goalkeeper: Nawaf Al-Aqidi

We expect Nawaf Al-Aqidi to continue as Al Nassr’s No.1 goalkeeper despite the club’s interest in signing Alisson Becker.

Defence: Aymeric Laporte, Ali Lajami, Alex Telles, Sultan Al-Ghannam

Aymeric Laporte forms a centre-back duo with Ali Lajami, while Alex Telles and Sultan Al-Ghannam play on the left and right flanks, respectively.

Midfield: Sesko Fofana, Marcelo Brozović, Otávio

The duo of Brozovic and Fofana is expected to become the backbone of the team’s lineup for the 2023-24 season. The club have increased their efforts to sign Luis Alberto in recent weeks. But Otávio remains as their favourite target for the remaining midfield position.

Attack: Sadio Mane, Talisca, Cristiano Ronaldo

Mane and Ronaldo are expected to form one of the league’s deadliest attacking duos this season. Talisca continues his role as Al Nassr’s right winger.

Al Nassr XI: Al Aqidi, Laporte, Lajami, Telles, Al Ghanna, Otávio, Fofana, Brozovic, Talisca, Ronaldo, Mane.
