The €75 million summer signing has shared his insight into the Manchester United squad’s relationship with Erik ten Hag.

Rasmus Hojlund has given Erik ten Hag a vote of confidence and is confident the Manchester United manager has the support of ‘every player’.

On Wednesday, Ten Hag faced further scrutiny after a 4-3 Champions League loss to FC Copenhagen. The defeat in Denmark was United’s ninth in 17 games this season.

Yet, Hojlund, who fired United into an early two-goal lead, is hopeful the Red Devils will get back on track.

“I think every player in the dressing room supports him [Ten Hag],” Hojlund said after the game, as per The Guardian.

“I hope it is just a matter of time [before United will be successful]. The first 30 minutes today was some of the best football we have been playing this season.”

Hojlund has now scored five goals in four Champions League games since his €75 million summer arrival from Italian team Atalanta.

The 20-year-old Dane, who is yet to score in the Premier League, is enjoying working with Ten Hag.

“A really good coach,” Hojlund said of Ten Hag.

“He cares about every single detail and he helps me a lot, gives me a lot of confidence, and supports me.”

United return to action on Saturday at Old Trafford for a Premier League match against Luton Town.
