Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has heaped praise on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a perfect outing against Leeds at the Emirates.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his return to the Arsenal lineup in style on Sunday.

The Gunners captain has missed his side’s last few games due to personal issues. He recently revealed that his mother was ill and he had to take some time off the pitch.

However, Aubameyang was back on the pitch against Leeds at the Emirates.

The Gabonese forward stole all the headlines with his first Premier League hat-trick for the Gunners in their 4-2 victory.

The goals were even more significant as Aubameyang hit a milestone in the process. The 31-year-old hit 200 career league goals with his latest strikes.

Bukayo Saka has also excelled of late for Arsenal and revealed his admiration for the Gunners captain.

“He is amazing,” the teenager said to the club’s website.

“I can’t speak highly enough of him. He showed everyone how much quality he has, when he gets a chance he is going to put it away.”

“He can do everything, so we are so happy to have him and it’s good that he got a hat-trick for his confidence. We have a big week ahead and we hope he can score some more goals for us.”

The victory against Leeds saw Arsenal return to winning ways in the Premier League. Saka hopes the result can give his side some much-needed momentum to put on a winning run.

“I hope [this can be a turning point],” Saka added. “The last two games we lost, but I thought we were quite unlucky. So to get this one over the line, get the win, it sets us up for quite a tough week and gives us a lot of confidence going into the games.

“As a young player you get that experience and around you people are there to guide you when things aren’t going well. They can give you confidence, instructions and things like that. I just feel like Arteta has got the right balance for us at the moment.”
