After getting sacked by Tottenham Hotspur’s board, Jose Mourinho got a message from Harry Kane through his official social media.

Harry Kane was one of the most benefited players at Tottenham during the Jose Mourinho era. In 62 matches player for the Portuguese manager since he arrived, Harry Kane has been involved in 62 goals. Meaning, the English striker has either scored or assisted during this time. Every time Jose Mourinho was asked about Kane’s future, he always expressed how important he is to the Spurs.

We’ll say more about this. When Jose Mourinho was about to sign for the North London club, he stated his position from the start. If Harry Kane got sold to another club, Mourinho would reject any offer from Tottenham. This clearly set the tone between manager and player from the beginning. Kane always felt the utmost confidence from Mourinho and he responded to that trust accordingly.

Kane will always remain grateful towards Mourinho.

After the sacking announcement, the entire world of football felt it was a rash decision from Daniel Levy. Tottenham Hotspur is about to play the Carabao Cup final next weekend and Mourinho had a chance to win his first title with Spurs. Levy decided to block this chance from taking place as he sacked Mourinho.

Harry Kane responded to the news with a social media post on his official Twitter account: “Thank you for everything Boss. A pleasure to have worked together. I wish you all the best for your next chapter,” wrote the England international. There is still no confirmation of who will replace Mourinho for the foreseeable future. Could this mean that Harry Kane is about to leave Tottenham as well?
