After scoring another brace, Harry Kane just completed another record-breaking night against Everton but left the pitch with bad news.

When Harry Kane started his professional career, nobody imagined he would be breaking records this early in his career. After twelve years in English football, he can now stay at the level of other greats in Premier League history. With his brace against Everton tonight, Harry became one of only four players to score 20 goals in five different seasons in this tournament. Who are the other three? Their names might ring a bell: Thierry Henry, Sergio Aguero, and Alan Shearer. All of them are legends in their own right, but Kane keeps cementing his own legacy despite playing for a historically losing side.

Since Jose Mourinho arrived in coach the Spurs, Kane has been involved in 62 goals after playing 62 matches for Tottenham. Those numbers are completely insane for the England skipper. He might even win this season’s Player of the Year award. Kane currently leads the scoring table (21 goals) and the assist table (13 assists). Those numbers are easily worthy of getting the award by the end of the campaign if he stays at the top until the end. Plus, Kane might even prevent Manchester City from getting that quadruple nine days from today.

Kane suffers a fresh ankle injury.

But the only kryptonite Harry Kane has are his ankles, they are so fragile that he often suffers injuries. Tonight was no different as he suffered a tackle from Richarlison and had to limp out of the pitch. By the end of the match, the Spurs were more worried about Harry Kane’s ankle than the result itself. The only chance Tottenham has to win a trophy will be nine days from today at the Carabao Cup final.

If Kane doesn’t recover by then, the Spurs will be at 50% of their real capacity against one of the strongest sides in the world this season. Even though he made history tonight, this wasn’t an all-around happy evening for the Tottenham Hotspur star. Eric Dier seemed worried about the final minutes when he saw his teammates getting off the pitch. We seriously hope he recovers quickly and this is nothing serious.
