Haaland enjoyed another sensational season with Borussia Dortmund, scoring 41 goals in as many appearances across all competitions in 2020/21.
The 20-year-old extraordinary tally puts him in contention for the 2021 Ballon d’Or alongside the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe.
A player in high demand is understood to have a release clause worth €75 million on his Dortmund contract that will come into play next summer, but serious suitors might not want to wait until then to land him. Chelsea, as per recent reports, have already started working to add him to their ranks ahead of 2021/22.
Barcelona are also said to be interested in signing the striker, and Pique suggests he is keen on playing alongside Haaland.
“I have no idea, I wish he would come,” the Spanish defender said during a chat with Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos.
“The great players should be with us, but that’s a decision for the club to make. They will know.”
